The numbers and rates are almost same as the last week. It is expected the same situation would be continued until the end of the month.
Total numbers of auction cars are getting smaller these 2-3 weeks. The fiscal period has finished, and Japanese proper dealers seem like they have finished selling cars at auctions and preparing retails. Export markets have been pretty busy for this 5-6 month, but they are settled little by little.
Total numers of auction cars were smaller than last week. Usually auction numbers tend to be higher on the latter half of month, so it seems like Japanese car market gets settled little by little. The market prices are still steady but obviously vehicles for European market such as small hatches have been expensive for this 2-3 month. Also numbers for Republic of Chile has been increased a lot since last August. Classic vehicles for American/Canadian market were slightly cheaper than before.
As the new business period has stared, a lot of auctions are holding events this week too. Finally 133,341 cars were on this week, and 95,860 cars had been sold. The Japanese domestic market is still very positive, thus the total number of cars will be steady for a while.
